Texas judge warns of possible ‘civil war’ if President Obama is re-elected


As if the negative political ads aren't enough, now a county judge in Lubbock, Texas, predicts possible "civil war" if President Obama is re-elected.


Judge Tom Head was on a local TV news show making his case for a tax increase, when he said hiring extra sheriff's deputies would especially be needed if Obama wins in November.


"He's going to try to hand over the sovereignty of the United States to the U.N., and what is going to happen when that happens?," Head asked.


"I'm thinking the worst. Civil unrest, civil disobedience, civil war maybe. And we're not just talking a few riots here and demonstrations, we're talking Lexington, Concord, take up arms and get rid of the guy.


"Now what's going to happen if we do that, if the public decides to do that? He's going to send in U.N. troops. I don't want 'em in Lubbock County. OK. So I'm going to stand in front of their armored personnel carrier and say 'you're not coming in here'.


"And the sheriff, I've already asked him, I said 'you gonna back me' he said, 'yeah, I'll back you'. Well, I don't want a bunch of rookies back there. I want trained, equipped, seasoned veteran officers to back me."

Just a Texas Civics 101 lesson for people not from Texas/uneducated Texans.

A County Judge in Texas(not to be confused with JPs, County Court at Law Judges, District Court judges, etc), while a judge, is actually the chief administrator of a county and is the chair of the County Commissioners Court.

Also the area in and around Lubbock is the most conservative area in the entire United States. It also has more hypocrites per square mile than anywhere else as well.

I find it comical Sheriff Rowe has denied any and all conversations and has more or less said I don't know what the fuck Judge Head is talking about.

I seen American Hogger on TV and though them dummies gots IQ's only a few points higher then the pigs they shoot, they love their dogs and each other. I'd have more fun spending a day with them, given 70 degree weather, than I would talking to a Stanford professor. Just knowing folk like that exist makes me happy.

Thanks for the info. My first reaction was WTF is a judge stumping for tax increases for and secondly aren't judges in TX covered by a judicial code of conduct? Seems this guy is a judge in title only. Probably the equivalent of Boss Hawg down there.
