I don't live in my mom's basement. I actually own my own property.
Sure you do, and I have a ski resort in North Korea to sell you.

Seriously This. Something I believe the late Andy Rooney wrote;I'm a supporter of "who gives a shit" either way. I say Merry Christmas. I am not offended by someone who says Happy Hanukkah, Happy Holidays, or nothing at all. You should not be offended by someone wishing you a good time, even if it's related to a holiday you may not celebrate.
"I just wish people had balls not to cave in to pressure from a tiny, vocal minority. I've heard of companies and school districts that don't allow their employees to say the holiday greeting of their choosing. This is pretty asinine, especially when it's almost universally only applied to Christmas, which is celebrated by 95% of America, including 80% of non-Christians.

Oh, she sold you the house eh?

More like the guest house out back.
Just so long as it's not into "tyranny of the majority" territory.I'm a supporter of "who gives a shit" either way. I say Merry Christmas. Because happy holidays makes no sense and they only do this to Christians. Why don't we wish Muslims happy holidays? Or Jews Happy holidays because it's stupid and makes no sense.
The people who do this are anti-Christian and politically correct morons.
I have actually had some idiots who wished me a "happy holidays" and I had to correct them and make them realize how stupid and wrong they were.
If you did that to me in person I'd tell you to fuck off. People are not under any obligation to give you a greeting or well-wishes at all, let alone with the specific wording you want.
So then why do they say happy holidays?
There is no pandering to Christianity, Christianity has actually been under attack for a long time. If you pay attention during Christmas you will see them trying to undermine Christmas and attack it in various ways.
Those people who say happy holidays are complete idiots.

Christmas is celebrated by more people and more important than those holidays. How many people actually celebrate those days?
We don't say happy holidays to Muslims celebrating Ramadan so why is it alright to do it to Christians?
When was the last time you wished a Muslim a happy anything?

You are no longer going to take our rights away.
To me the most amusing part of this whole spectacle is that christmass isn't even based on christianity.
There's no santa or christmass tree in the bible, and if you read it carefully you'll find that Jesus wasn't actually born during the winter.
"The use of evergreen trees, wreaths, and garlands to symbolize eternal life was a custom of the ancient Egyptians, Chinese, and Hebrews. Tree worship was common among the pagan Europeans and survived their conversion to Christianity in the Scandinavian customs of decorating the house and barn with evergreens at the New Year to scare away the devil and of setting up a tree for the birds during Christmastime."
Still looking for any evidence of a school or teacher being sued and paying damages for calling a tree a Christmas tree.
Actually any evidence for this so called "War on Christmas" would be nice.
Didn't you see the news last year?!?!?! Private companies used the term "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas"!!! There most definitely is a war going on and so far Christmas is getting its ass kicked!
Lol, sounds pretty goddammed absurd considering the fact that Christmas has all but swallowed freaking thanksgiving recently doesn't it? Hell I half expect to see Xmas shit in stores by August this year.
