This...and if you like amusement parks there's SeaWorld and a Six Flags in San Antonio, Houston has the NASA facility if you're into that...best tip I can give: Don't mess with it.
Hit up salt lick. I hope they have one around there.
Riverwalk is pretty cool. Lots of stuff going on there during the weekend.

TX is a red state that doesn't believe in minimum wage, so feel free to not tip any of your servers.
why would you not tip servers? that doesn't even make sense.
and last time I checked we had minimum wage here.
Yep, it's the same in EVERY state...even those silly blue ones.Tipped employees only have to make minimum wage after their tips are included. Their hourly pay is something like $2.13 per hour. It saves the employers\job-makers money so they can hire more waiters.

Yeah but the blue states are the ones where everyone is entitled to everything, so you're expected to the tip no matter what.Yep, it's the same in EVERY state...even those silly blue ones.
True...and sadly no illegals at my local HDYeah but the blue states are the ones where everyone is entitled to everything, so you're expected to the tip no matter what. One thing I would like to see in Texas is Home Depot. I've heard that illegal immigrants literally stand outside Home Depot and wait for a guy to illegally hire them. Maybe I could stand next to them and have my picture taken. Look at me! I'm illegal! /sombrero
Actually correct, I didn't know that...of course you'd need it just to live in a box in CaliforniaIIRC California pays waiters true minimum wage, plus their tips. At least that's how it used to be.
