So, I'm changing the brake fluid on BGrissom's SV650S when I suddenly get a text message from a number I don't recognize.
Them: Test a go ready in one hour
Me:
A little confused, I erase and continue on with my day. One hour later...
Them: Begin testing. Please report results.
Me: Sectors 1, 3, and 4 report failure.
Them: We are not testing 1,3, and 4. Those are Banners and do not require testing. Please submit appropriate HIM form recording your finding.
Me: In the field and cannot access form. Please submit form for me.
Them: Cannot submit form on your behalf. Call Thomas.
Me: They won't back out. I'm restarting server now.
Them: Don't do anything. Call Thomas.
Me: Give me a minute, I almost got it.
Them: What is your location?
Me: Server is hung in post, reseating MotherBoard, memory, processor, and disc drives now.
Them: What??? DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING! We are sending someone to your location. Please call Thomas immediately.
Me: I'm a little busy, reloading OS.
I then receive a phone call from 317-513-5186.
Them: Who is this? (In a paniced tone)
Me: It's me.
Them: Who?
Me: Jared
Them: Are you on IVY Tech's system administration team?
Me: Uh, no I think you might have the wrong number.
Them: Click
Minutes later I get another text from the original number. 317-506-5099
Them: So, looks like we are all clear.
Me: Nothing is clear on my end.
Them: Why are you texting me? I think you have the wrong number.
Me: You had better call Thomas to confirm.
