I think it works similarly to half.com. Their search engine takes a isbn # as well.

My experience: always combine price comparison with coupons.
For this term I got one of the cheapest from fatbrain with $15 coupon and another one from booksamillion 10% membership discount ($5 member fee paid by the $5 coupon).
It seems amazon.co.uk doesn't carry many textbooks any more. All my textbooks for this term is out of stock there.
