Well, there WAS a version floating around Real.com where for $30ish, you could get a stand alone version of it. But in all honesty, for $30, you might as well go out and buy Half Life, because the single player game ROCKS. And then you can get all the mods like DoD and Firearms. If you get Half Life, and uodate it to the latest version, it should include TFC.

I used to play TFC every day for almost a year until I started college. Then it was every other day until Tribes 2 came out. Haven't touched it in a couple months now

It's a MOD to the ever popular game called Half-Life, meaning you need that game to play TFC.

However, Team Fortress 2 will be out in September (I'm hoping). That's a full version game meaning you don't need anything else (except minimum system requirements) to play it.

i agree, just go buy half life. game of the year edition can be found for real cheap. then, you can play all the other mods like cs

I heard TF2 was being pushed back even more for the release of CS2
