Currently, this is a huge problem in Thailand. Stray dogs and even domesticated dogs are being taken from Thailand and shipped to places like Vietnam. They are then skinned alive and brutalized. A horrible death.

I can't comment as to the killing of animals for food as I am not a vegan, however there are humane ways to slaughter any animal for food purposes, why the fuck do these heartless assholes need to skin a dog that's still alive, just for the fun of watching something suffer through horrible, horrific pain?, that's some sick fucking bastards doing that shit and even sicker is the assholes that purchase the meat culled from these poor dogs knowing what they went trough during their death..

I couldn't even watch the video, frankly I'm surprised anyone would. As for the eggs, just place them in a bowl of water with lot's of ice cubes when they are through boiling and the shells will come off no problem.

Just burn everything to the ground, that way radiation won't prevent the survivors from rebuilding.

I'm an unapologetic meat-eater who is OK with people eating dog but not OK with the mistreatment of any livestock. I love my dogs but... Mmmm! Dogs.

Pigs are smarter than dogs and can be equally loyal/loving pets yet the same people who say "Not watching as I love my dog, not sure how people can do this." might say "Mmmm! Bacon." in response to a similar pig factory farming video.

Their status as loving pets should have nothing to do with your outrage. I live right next to a Hallal meat processing place which cuts the necks of all processed livestock while conscious and hangs them upside down on giant hooks to drain the blood. Cows, goats, and pigs (which, as we've established, is every bit as bad as doing this to dogs). It's practiced and tolerated for religious reasons. No one is protesting.

I can see you have strong feelings about this. I love my puppies too, but meat is meat. My only issue is the completely barbaric way they treat the animals. And for that alone should they should be burned out of existence.

Those that are still alive are not humanely killed many are tortured often for hours before being skinned alive. The reason for this is that people believe that the pain inflicted leads to the tenderising of the meat. Most shocking of all, is that some dogs are still alive when their fur is removed.

From a purely scientific standpoint that was by far the most surprising part of the video for me. Just didn't expect boiling water to have quite that effect on fur, the rest was pretty much expected, savages will be savages after all. If someone can bring the dog meat market to a more humane level though, more power to 'em.

I didn't see any dogs skinned alive on the video. Just a bunch of dogs kept in crowded cages, forced fed and then one pulled out and quickly clubbed over the head to kill it. Then a scalded, obviously dead carcass being skinned in preparation for butchering.

I'm not sure how much more brutal this is than most other meat processing around the world. I'll leave it up to you folks to decide whether it is okay to do this to a pig, but not a dog.

Not all dogs are fit to be pets. I've watched overcrowded animal shelters in sunny, progressive California put down unwanted dogs the first day they were legally able to because they needed the space. I wish more were spayed or neutered so we didn't have unwanted pets. I'm not really going to shed too many tears if people in some corner of the world eat them, unless they start stealing loved pets from people to feed this dog meat trade.

Yes, animals slaughtered here are done so in the most humane way possible, cattle for example are killed with a gun that drives a large projectile directly into it's head, killing it instantly, no animals slaughtered here are dropped alive into boiling water or tortured to supposedly "tenderize" the meat. I'm not thrilled with the conditions that most chickens are raised in but that is slowly changing as people were made aware that they spent their entire lives in a tiny cage that's too small to even turn around in. What gets me is it's much cheaper to raise chickens than digs for meat, chickens mature quickly, are cheap to hatch by the thousands from eggs and taste great, the only reason people are torturing and killing dogs is that in Vietnam and other parts of Asia dogmeat is an "upgrade" from pork or chicken, fucking scum of the earth for doing this shit..
