Where are the borders for where its called pop or soda. As far as i can see its pop in the midwest and soda in west coast. Im not sure about the east coast.

Where i grew up in Washington State it was always called pop. When i moved to California to go to school i called it pop and people seriously laughed at me. I also called miniature golf put-put golf and got the same response.

People here in Chicago never say soda. It's always pop. My cousins from Louisianna call it 'soda' but usually just say they want a Coke and then they ask what kind of 'Coke' you want. Since when does Coke mean ANY kind of pop in general? Southerners = crazy.
