QFT...while the moderation here is far from terrible I do find it often biased much more than other forums I frequent. That said we seem to have a lot more moderators than most as well.

I have been a moderator in the past during BBS type days. It's a hard job to keep it non-personal and non-biased.

All in all this is my favorite work-day forum. It's hard to find forums today that don't have NSFW crap plastered all over the place.

Overall, with only one personal exception, I agree that the moderation here is usually fair and even-handed.

I've moderated on a couple of reefing sites and it's definitely a thankless job most of the time...but the pay and benefits are pretty good... Hell, look at Oldsmoboat...he made enough money moderating here to build an addition to his basement.



I'd sure like to know the back story to the spaceman thread though...that was quite a meltdown he had.
