Thats more like it.

It may just tempt me to switch over to the Durons (I have a case that needs upgrading from a Celeron 400 (all it would need would be a new PSU< new mobo, and CPU, aslong as it took SDRam.

Nice crunching and I hope the limits of the Duron aren't too low I've heard that most (as long as they are from Athlon 'B' cores0 should go to 2000 ie 166x12 if not more.

Good luck.

Well if I can reach 166 with this, then I will be happy! Although, I have not looked yet, but is there a way on these Durons to change the mult? If so I can drop the mult and raise the FSB higher! But you are right, these Durons seem to have a lot of bang for the buck!

On Coolkids sheet, is there a way to show when the last time the sheet was refreshed?

If anyone wants my version of the the excel spreadsheet that does a time stamp (including the history I already have) just pm me your email address and I'll send it to you.

When you open the excel file it automatically does a data update of BBR and TeAm.

I send along a text file explaining how to maintain it.

I just opened the file and got this result line:

-10,695 WUs (TeAm - BBR) 01/28/2004 11:37 Members (TeAm - BBR) -41

It is now the top most line of about 150 such entries going back to here:

8,946 WUs (TeAm - BBR) 11/25/2003 08:17 Members (TeAm - BBR)

Welcome to TA & the forums

Durons from 1.4GHz upwards run at 133FSB by default.

I was running SETI on a couple of Duron rigs I built for people ,both had 1.4GHz Durons (133FSB/133 RAM) with DDR333 RAM (same price as 266).They both had the same Syntax mbrd with the KT266a chipset ,RAM set to 2-2-2-6.At def speed they got 4hrs/WU (average AR) ,at 150MHz FSB (~1.6GHz) they both did WUs in about 3.5hrs.
Btw those chips are awesome at o/cing ,a 3rd chip I had for an upgrade for a friend I put in my Nfrc2 rig ,the 1.4GHz Duron o/ced to 2.17GHz! ,it needed a modest boost in vcore.

skrjones
Re above rigs ,the upgrade I did for my mate re-used his PC133 CL2 RAM on the same Syntax KT266a mbrd,at def speed it does WUs in 4.5hrs

If you want to try then close the L5 bridge which will make the multiple default to 11.

Hope this helps tho I reckon getting it running on high FSB with default 12 multi would be good enough for now. hasinfo on the mod an dthe likely O/C depending on the type.

LOL...I had forgot that you were a Rebel fan.....

I don't know about this spot stuff....we seem to love to jump out to a good lead then fall back and let everyone back in it!

Oh, and just how long has Justin Reed been as Ole Miss anyway? Seems like 10 years now at least!

YUCK...I hope you don't get any on you! :Q

Speaking of spotting people a lead, BBR is up to 13,290 lead.

Can't we call a foul or something on them?

For whatever reason, CoolKid has been running somewhat behind SETITeAm the last day or so. Maybe it's just a lag!

Edit: Latest Stats from SETITeAM:

TeAm: 7,888,007
BBR : 7,899,001

-10,994

So I would guess Coolkid is right on now!

Regardless, tis sad!

Actually I have found that Coolkid's stats are more accurate than even when you pull them with Setiteam.

Do you mind if I ask what you're smoking? I may want some .

There are only two stats threads on BBR. Mine (see my stats for a sample) and Hellburner's. Hellburner's are usually posted by Dennifloss and my reports are my own format, no one elses.

I looked at CoolKids sheet, and last I checked, I didn't see anything remotely resembling it on BBR's site.

So, perhaps you mean Hellburner, my fellow statistician-in-arms? .

There were a few links posted to Coolkid's Excel sheet in your forums. Not a stats thread, just a link to Coolkids Stats. That's what he's smoking!
