There are only two stats threads on BBR. Mine (see my stats for a sample) and Hellburner's. Hellburner's are usually posted by Dennifloss and my reports are my own format, no one elses.

I looked at CoolKids sheet, and last I checked, I didn't see anything remotely resembling it on BBR's site.

So, perhaps you mean Hellburner, my fellow statistician-in-arms? .

No I mean this :http://www.broadbandreports.com/forum/remark,9201351~mode=flat~days=9999~start=20

and a quote by your founder Kinguni: "TA 97 ahead using the spreadsheet created by one of your team mates."

Sorry I don't smoke anything, do drink a little Molson Ice but that's a different story.

I didn't bother to link the thread . Didn't seem worth the trouble and I got 8 more machines to move back to seti then a new 2500 Barton to build.

I think the only thing Freewolf and the RA smoke are WUs.....well and whatever workunits they have in D2OL, DPAD (Muons I believe) and any other projects the RA runs

TSC and Folding@home are the other two.(So far)
Todd takes care of the folding for the RA however

I love a good motivational quote in the morning!

Actually I think you'll find that their hoppers are empty or they would still be dumping (and gaining) on us. Overall, barring new members with baggage, I think you'll find that we'll continue to outproduce them by 1-1.5K a day in adjusted production. If you look at our adj stats for the last three days and compare it to their adj stats today and three days ago, you'll see that they just don't have the raw production numbers to overtake. I believe they'll need new members with baggage to pass us.

Regards,

Savant

If you want to try then close the L5 bridge which will make the multiple default to 11.

Hope this helps tho I reckon getting it running on high FSB with default 12 multi would be good enough for now. hasinfo on the mod an dthe likely O/C depending on the type.

Well it will not post at 166 so I am at 153 with tight ram timings, will start bumping up until I hit the wall. I may try to close the L5 bridge to see if that helps. I dont care about the CPU speed, I need as much FSB as I can get! I am also doing this with PC2100 so I may try to get some PC2700 to see if that helps.

So far this little shuttle is popping out sub 3 hour WU's!

POOP!!!!! Was just told that they are going to set up a web filter and start logging everything going in and out so the only traffic they want to see will have to be "legitimate" work related traffic, so I am going to have to shut down my work fleet! I do not have a time frame but it looks to be soon. Maybe the next couple of weeks. So in preparation I am going to get some more work systems running that I have just set up so I can try to puch out as much as possible before I have to shut it down. Sorry guys! Hopefully we can pass BBR before I have to guy my fleet.

I presume they've given you permission to run?

Could you set up a SetiQueue at work, and get it to connect only at night, or if you have a laptop, set up the SetiQueue to talk to another queue on the laptop I do this at work

Yes I have permission, but they get loosy goosy about all this stuff and have had me turn it off before. Now that they are going to log it all we can't have ANY internet traffic that is not work related since our corporate office is going to be the main watchdogs.

Engineer - right after I posted that, I thought the same thing. This will probably be what I do. I can then use my pocket pc to move the data from home to work. I may then set up a queue on my main rig to use so I do not have to shut down and restart the other, I can just start the new one at night when I need to upload results and then download.

Since I used the flex installer to set everything up what is the best way to get these clients to point to the new queue?

Nice upgrade ,what WU times are you getting with it?

For fully completed work units it ranges from 2.2 to 2.6 hrs with the most common being right at 2.5.

Um, the EASY way is to create a shortcut to the setiathome.exe file and put it in your startup folder...

IIRC you can re-run the FlexInstaller and set it up to point to a queue

The 2nd one is right ,the CGI stats are updated when you hit refresh (assuming results have been submitted) ,the other one is updated every 24hrs......I believe

The Ram would be my fav to start with, DDR2100 is only good to 166 if you have top quality Ram and are lucky or can you loosen the timings to bump it some more. The other mod you can do is to bridge some L11 gaps to bump the vcore on the CPU. The L5 mod won't work with NForce boards however, but I reckon we can get that rig just bit faster.

Thanks assim.....

Also I am forgetting what I need to do after my queue is set up for the first time. Do I need to wait for a client to upload to me before I can fill the queue?

I believe that is the case, MoFunk. It has been a while since I've setup a "new" SetiQueue but I remember something about that.

Attention: Everyone that I have sent my "TeAm vs BBR" spreadsheet.

After noticing Ass1's post about which stat web page gives the latest most up-to-date numbers, I changed the encoded web queries to the following:

http://setiathome2.ssl.berkeley.edu/fcgi-bin/fcgi?cmd=team_lookup&name=Team%20AnandTech

http://setiathome2.ssl.berkeley.edu/fcgi-bin/fcgi?cmd=team_lookup&name=BroadbandReports.com%20Team%20Starfire

I then sent out to everyone the "Improved" version.

The problem with the above links is that lately I've been getting a lot of web error messages when trying to load these web pages.

"Web Server Error
The page you selected is temporarily down or disabled. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please try again later. "

This causes the spread-sheet's auto-fetch function to return similarly worded error messages.

I've also notice in the past month a similar problem with SetiTEAM. Sometimes I have to click on the UPDATE dozens of times before it makes contact.

Now the "Improved" spreadsheet does work and when it does the numbers are the most accurate and most up-to-date.

Ok when it rains it pours. Due to network problems our work queue will be down for a while until the IT idiots figure out how to do their job. Unfortunately the dump a couple of days ago will be our last for a while. At least we still have our home fleets. I will work this weekend to bring a XP1600 and 1700 back online. I hope to get near 100 wu's per day in the next week or two.
