You're right to say that it's a little bit useless to figure out exactly how many hours someone participated in Seti so the Seti members can return that to let's say, the DPAD team..
You're also right that it's boring to do just one project. I'm also active in three projects. Only Seti is just to help out our team mates
UD is my project and I will run that for as long as the project goes. I like D2OL also very much and am rather active at that one as well (did 180+ candidates yesterday..)
Reffering to your 'vocal output'.. Well, your only here for about 2 months.. And calling someones ideas 'useless and stupid' to some other members ideas, well.. I don't think much people would appreciate that..
Ah were in the same team, so we shouldn't argue about that, should we, team mate?
By the way, I'm also not that good at this language cause I'm a fellow european...

I'm not really sure how to respond to this. Other than to say that there are a lot of people here that do not know about all of the other DCPs that are out there. This will give some people an idea where to start looking. To imply that I don?t want to "repay to much" !!!! A four letter word followed by a three letter word should be included here but I digress.
I for one want to know if I need to move one or more of the 90+ PCs I have to a DCP that I havent heard of, and isnt being "rewarded" for there help with SETI1. You know of a better way for me to find that info out?
Im all ears.

is it to early for a welcome abord?
Never too early (or late) for new friends, good scotch, more WUs, and a little payback for past favors.
and then you say:For *me* it will be stupid if you join particular project not because you like its idea but you need to repay something...
BTW. Who is going to help Team Norge in D2OL if they come here helping us with SETI?

Hmmm THATS MY POINT!!
WE NEED A WAY TO FIGURE OUT WHO HELPED OUT WITH SETI1! And make sure they get back what they gave.
There is no way my heart can tell me who took time away from there team, there DCP. Those who lost races, who lose a spot or two or three in world ranking.
I don't know why I am even bothering with this. You seam to be the only one having a problem with keeping track of TeAm mates from other teams donating time.

Excuse me, Thoreau, but I find your idea useless.. Let's say our DPAD team donated 10 CPU's 24/7 == 10 points, right? So what, you when SETI ends will add only 10 CPU's to us? That's stupid, really..
It is very boring listening you all talking only about how many each DC add to SETI.. I'm crunching ZETA/ChessBrain/D2OL/DPAD - which project will you be in to repay what have I done? :/
Wouldn't it be better if we just supp. you guys now, and after SETI you will look for your project, don't watching on how many each of them add to SETI? Join DC you like, not that, which supported SETI!
Why put effors in creating another stats page, it's better to create accurate and updated project list!! It will be very good for all of us looking for new projects to join!
PS. 31.9% WU done. 5:01 hours left Total: 7:22.

Interesting that when such differences of opinion are allowed to run their course all team members involved (usually) smooch and make-up for the ultimate good of the team.

Do you have normal internet connection on that machine? Are you connecting directly to seti or to a proxy?

This is partially why I stay here. This TeAm is great at that. We are all different people with different views and sometimes we can step on someones toes, but it always seems to work out for the greater good of the TeAm!

I'm working on getting a bud with 10M+ WUs to join us, and have invited him to look over TA tonight. If the forums and all the other bells and whistles don't persuade him to join TA, I will resort to a "time honored" method --- bribery. I know for a fact he has an idle P$C 2.6 looking for a mobo, and I just happen to have a D875PBZLK laying around, unopened, in NewEgg's original package.
No reflection on his current team, which is a good one, but IMHO he would be happier here, as am I.

Contribution from other team isn't the same as contribution from your mates... Or, at least, it isn't for me.. If other team help us, we really need to care on number, as we don't want to give them too less.. We care about this only before repaying, than we forget it and remember only that that team help us!
And inside the TeAm, i think number aren't so important... and you, who are concentrating on number, kill the idea of TeAm, in which members help each other because they want to do it!
But now I have one question, SNC. How you gonna keep track of mine, even if I don't send too much and far lower than I want, when now I'm part of Rebel Alliance in Seti? You are going to watch their SETIQ to know how many I crunched?
Oh, if you allow, next question. In which DC I participe in you are going to repay me what I have done here? That's really bug me...
