Oh, and my Dual 1.4GHz TBird system is back up and in business! (After being down for a week)!

TeAm by 800 now...on pure production!

Seein' how close this thing is makes even a small producer like me feel like I'm playing a part. ::wipes tear from eyes::

Ok.....so how do I find these numbers? None of the sites I have bookmarked either as TA sites, or the Seti homesite tells me numbers this up-to-date. I am ignorant in this part of the process. (But remember, ignorance is curable by knowledge..stupidity is forever!)

Plus someone posted an Excel spreadsheet a while back. Don't know what happened to the link though.

It was coolkid...don't have the link right now. Will search.

Yep...SETITeAm is great. A little "buggy slow" at times...but a great program!

Get version 2.1i (latest version).

Ok...I give up. Whee did you hide SetiTeam? I went to the seti site...the link showed not there. When I checked out the homepage of the alleged maintainer of the linked site, he had no link to seti. When I tried the www.teamanandtech.com site...I could get no response. This has to be part of the initiation process, right?

SETITeAm download!

Thread at BBR to give updated settings to get it to work.

Download and install....change the settings to the ones in the thread above. Type "Team AnandTech" in the little white box at the top and hit update. It will download the stats. Save them (for future comparison) once downloaded. You may then type in "BroadbandReports.com Team Starfire" in the white box and hit update to get BBR's stats. Once the stats are downloaded (and previous versions saved), you can right click on the worksheet and do a compare to previous versions to get the number of new WU's that a team may now have!

P.S. BBR back in front by several hundred again! :Q

I just ran SetiTeam and it agrees with Engineer. They both pull the stats from the same place so why the difference?

edit: SetiTeam uses the setiathome.ssl while coolkids uses setiathome2.ssl

Hmmm...two different PC's with SETITeAm...both have BBR with about a 300 lead. The 39 member's lead is correct...but we've both added new TeAmmates (members) in the last hour and theirs had 1,124 WU's. We had about a 900 WU lead up until then. Hmmm....maybe something is screwed up. I wonder where coolkid gets his stats.....

Regardless...too close for comfort! :Q

had trouble with SetiTeam, getting exactly what I want (Nothing on team mode, gotta do stats mode, and then d/l teams, still working on that.

Love the Excel sheet though! As I have looked, (but I had to let the wife on for a bit) we have been within 100 pts since I saw that link posted. (Us ahead by 101 as of 9:29 PM CST)

Since BnT finished dumping we've been neck and neck with the TeAm having about a 90 wu lead. I think we are probably more Queued than BBR so the overnight dumpage would probably be more, however, new membership on either side can significantly change that picture.

Not too shabby for a Duron. I will have to pump up the FSB a bit and try to get that down closer to 4 hour WU's.

I'm surprised that Duron isn't running that WU quicker than that. My Duron 1300 (stock timing, 13x100Mhz)runs an average of 4:50 and will complete a high mid-angle WU like you had in under that. The quickest I have had is about 4:22 so either you have a big upside in that chip or I would have expected more from it. (Considering a Athlon 1600 (1900+) can average 3:25 which I accept has the full cache but its a big difference) Are you sure its running at 133mhz?

I thought it was, but I just slapped the OS on it this morning as I was getting ready for work, networked it and loaded seti. I have not really touched it aside form that. When I get home tonight I will pop into the bios and check it out. My T-Bird 1.33 is doing about the same so you are right, this Duron should be faster.

That could have been it. FSB was set to 100 so I popped it up to 133 and bumped the ram settings from normal to aggressive and will see how it does. Tomorrow night I will try to see what I can get from the FSB.

I could not wait. I have the FSB at 143 and tightened the ram timings before I went to bed, all seems ok so I will bump it up some more when I get home from work. my last few WU's are .412 in 3:27 (this was already 75% done when I bumped it up) .426 in 3:11 and .658 in 3:01.

If I can get this guy to average under 3 hours I will be happy and that will add 8 more wu's a day to the cause!

Also a bit of other good news. My 2 client's PC's should all be in on Friday so they will be crunching. 1 will keep the client on for me till the race is over, the other I will have at my house for at least a month. She is getting new carpet in her house and it was delayed, she does not want to set up the pc and then have to take it all out so she wants me to hold onto it for her. GLADLY!
