yes, we are trying to out 'crunch' you but embarass? Embarassment has never been a goal of Team Starfire. Yes, we are dedicated to the '5 in 4' but, it doesn't mean that any of us want to belittle the TeAm!

We can rally the old timers (you're an old timer one day after you join! ) and outcrunch them...

A theme....outcrunch them!

Engineer, normally I would agree with you but the main difference is the 80k swing that SpongeBob leaving had. Looking back on Hellburners dailys stats TA have had more new members in that time (one day 43K and one day 23K)
That main swing has now put BBR ahead and the new recruits they have had have put them back onto an even keel with TA. If you remember even with SBSP leaving TA were only 10k behind on that swing of 80k.

Maybe it is not so gloomy as you make out.... What goes around comes around.

Well I spent money I shouldn't have and did a bios update
and here's the results so far.

First the bios update the I was running at 1,800@200 and now I'm at 2,400@266 (AMD XP)

Also I bought a Laptop a AMD 64 mobile running at 3000 clock says 1,800 instead of 2000.
I ran it for 27 minutes of prime 95 with no problems. It's a Emachine but I got the extended warranty from BestBuy.
Its wide screen also.

Tomorrow if all goes well I will be building a AMD 64 3000 if prime95 runs on it ok for testing memory and the video card I ordered works as it should I will this one up and running, depends how the prime95 test complets and the video card. Tomshardware had an article of motherboard and memory problems failing in prime95 tests.

My dumps will be a little uneven I am in the proces of switching DSL providers and Qwest is having a time reprovisioning the line from the system setup of msn and whatever.

Other news you might have seen me gone for awhile ... well ... for whatever reason after my X died and I got my girls and they were living with us the present wife blew a gasket and so were now 2,000 miles west of the east coast now. In Grantsville, Utah from Florence, SC
Me and the 2 daughters 15 and 17 are doing fine and enjoying life.

I will be adding a Athlon 64 3200+ by the end of the week. This will make six systems running SETI 24/7.

You missed the main point of my post...."outcrunch them" and take it back!

It was pointed out to us that they outproduced us or would "rather" outproduce us to take the lead. I was just showing a few stats!

With enough spirited TeAmmates fired up, we can blind them in the rearview mirror again! :Q

Yes !, that's a priority!! Good for you!

Now about what THG says, don't beleive every thing they put out!! Can you say BIASED!!!!
What I do to stress test a system is Seti at high priority and run a loop test 3dmrk 2001 ! If it runs for 12hours , Then run memtest86 for another 12 hours
with Seti at low priority! If there's no errors and/or crash you can be sure the system is stable!!

Just my 0.03 cents Canadian!!! (It equals 0.02 US)

Quote of the day....

Keep those systems fired up! Let them eat cake! Let's smash those HP acquisition cheaters into a million bits! (due to their blatant theft of Compaq WUs) If TA is up to the challenge, bring it on!

This quote bought and paid for by the BBR. This quote does not relfect the views of this broadcasting station!

Had a power failure sometime last night, so I lost about 7 hours of crunching time (which, based on my avg, is about 100 or so WU, maybe more). I got everything back up and running at around 9am PST, so back to crunchin (the only things that were still running were the laptops...heh).

Glad you're back up Ronin!

Another quote...by BBR Starfire founder Kinguni...

We would never want to embarrass anyone. It is not our way. However, if we can stomp them into the ground, so much the better!

Hmmmmm.......Makes me sorta want to crunch more....you? :Q

Edited to add Smilie. Copy and paste quotes from BBR's site don't add smilies even when selected.

Please, if you are going to quote me, do not leave out the smilies I use in my posts, which in this case as a , indicating it was in good fun.

Now, at 40,000 lead I am far from comfortable. Even at 400,000 lead I would not be comfortable. This will be a fight down to the wire.

Hmm, kinda an off item, but I just reloaded my main rig (Athlon XP 2400, gig of 2700, etc.) and it went from doing 7-8 WU's day to 10 solid. Dropped about 25 minutes off my WU times on that box. Go figure. =)Wonder what kinda junk must have been cluttering it up, or if it was just the upgraded NF2 drivers that did it. Oh well, I shall crunch on!

Well I got that celly800 and m/b today. went out and bought a new 40gb hd. all set up and crunching.
I o/c to 960 , stable . so it will do ~3WUs/day.
Also I fixed a athlon 850 on an ECS K7s5a . So I updated the bios with cheepoman's and o/c to 935mhz that's the highest stable setting I can get. It's for my sister, she only surf thenet and does some office documents. He said she didn't mind having Seti on it and she's happy with the o/c. Said that if it fries, than I'll have to build her another one with the most recent hardware. She'll pay for the parts. I'll build it for free! So let's hope it dies soon. So another 3 WUs/day., for now.

Trying to do my part to boost output a little bit!!
