PS - what does a 3Ghz(800FSB) HT machine do as far as WUs/day?

I thought I'd update this since the specs have changed a bit.
3.2Ghz (800FSB) Hyperthreading
1GB 400Mhz DDR(2X512)
120GB SATA HDD
8X Plextor DVD burner
128MB FX5200 vid card(wanted a 9800Pro - but that was a no-go)

Oh, and yes - it's a DELL so no Tweaking But it's still a "tad" better than that old 866 - no?

ETA is about 2 weeks.

while there won't be any overclocking there CAN be tweaking. My friend's Dell 2.66P4 came to his home w/ 96 processes running in the background :Q :Q :Q :Q Q: :Q :Q. I got it down in the low 30s b4 all the extensions led to the Windows>>SYstem32 folder.. so i didn't go any further b/c after all its not my system ...

so what u can do (but i'm sure u've already done this ) is get rid of about 60 of the processes running in the background. that should SURELY account for a few minutes here and there.! :beer:

I'll try disabling some of the processes running on my sister's Dell tonight! I think Black Viper has a good guide on Windows processes.

Ok, I got my third machine cranking SETI now. My fleet:

Barton 3200+ on NF2-400 Ultra (mine @ home)
Tbird 1.4GHz on KT266A (wife's @ home)
PIII 1GHz on 694T (mine @ work)

All 3 machines will run 24/7 as usual only now they will run the SETI CLI client. Sorry to have dropped out for so long, hopefully this will do a little to make up for my slackness.
