If you're having problems with it, call them up and return it! I have one and read earlier about some people having problems such as you mentioned, I checked mine thoroughly and found it not to be a problem! I'd contact them though and see what they'll do for ya'! Good Luck!

A friend of mine just bought that PSU and has the same mobo. It works awesome for him, and he is having absolutely no problems!

all my rails are fine to the 1st decimal place.
Less than 1/10th of a volt off...

Maybe you got a faulty unit, everyone makes some of those sometimes.
Return it if you are unhappy with it.

That's actually a well known issue with the Epox's power regulation...there is already a mod to fix it.

i concur, that longass power cable is a pain in the butt. I have to drill a couple holes in the casing to put plastic hold downs. The sparkle ps cable is just right.

Why do people whine about the great features of Enermax power supplies? The low(er) +5v rail on an 8K7A is a voltage regulator issue with the mobo, nothing to do with the power supply. Try setting your voltage jumper to the last setting (+0.4v) and you'll find the voltage regulator can't maintain 2.20v either; that's again a problem on the 8K7A, not with the Enermax power supplies. Enermax makes the best power supplies, period. The long cables aren't a problem, assuming you have a decent-sized case. In a full-tower, for example, they are a godsend. Also the many power connectors and the nice coating are great. Do some investigation next time before blaming your problem on the power supply.

if you want no compromises, dig deep for PC power and cooling or someone.
