Because this annoys me so much, I have made it a point to be the exact opposite as this witch of a woman was today.
So...you're going to become a man??

Composition of a woman's personality, shallow, selfish, and petty. Is there another kind?

Your problem is you're one of the nice girls and you've been assuming (up until recently) that most females are as good as you.
They arent.
And I bet if you watched that lady for a day she probably treats men much better than other women.
Incidentally I am a big fan of nomarriage.com. Lots of good examples right there.
I know there are some American women who arent like that, but (like Lola and others) they get snatched up right away and guys like me who wait for the right girl, have very slim pickins.
That rings oddly true to me considering the roles men and women played in the evolvement of society. Is there scientific backing?Originally posted by: glen
It?s in the DNA.
There is an evolutionary advantage to men who can co-operate.
There is an evolutionary advantage to women who sabotage other women.

I don't know what's worse, letting the door close on someone, or the other person making huge judgements about them based only off of said actions.

and the women in Boston are complete jerks.. I've never dealt with so many
rude women all concentrated in one area.. its infuriating...
I go on campus and every woman there responds.. I try to speak to women on the
street they look at me as if I have 3 heads.. and holding the door as well.. there have
been many occasions where I've done that.. and I get no response...

Im sure most men are not going to have a really good idea about this because we expect women to act this way and and are not suprised by it and probably dont even notice it anymore

Did this wreak of irony to anyone else?
How does this even relate to what the thread is about. She's not saying that men should bow down and open the door, she's saying that she would like some common courtesy. Also, this thread was about a woman not holding the door for another woman, not a man not holding the door.Originally posted by: Arcex
That's equality of the new millenium, some women want to be treated as equals, but men still have to get the door, get the chair, pay for everything, etc.
Not that all women are like that, but enough are to give the rest a bad reputation.

I cannot believe I am even admitting this, but I am so annoyed.
This morning, I went to a local coffee/bakery place for work. As i walked in, a very nice man held the door for me as he was leaving. He also held the door for the woman in front of me.
Now, she ordered her double frap half caf no sugar soy latte and waited for it, then i ordered my items as well. Her coffee and my stuff came up at about the same time and i was literally ONE step behind her as we walked out the door. She saw how much i was carrying, yet she pushed open the door and let it slam in my face as she walked out.
That irks me more than anything. She was a total bitch, just concerned about herself.

Why is this? is it the way were are programed? Has soceity taught us that we are supposed to be better than everyone else... other women included?

Has anyone else every noticed that most women are like this?
PS... I do not feel horrible at all that i am ragging on "my own kind".
