How does this even relate to what the thread is about. She's not saying that men should bow down and open the door, she's saying that she would like some common courtesy. Also, this thread was about a woman not holding the door for another woman, not a man not holding the door.

Topics have a tendency to shift. You're right, what I said doesn't apply to the first post in this thread, but the discussion took on the larger issue of how women relate to others, men and women, in today's society. While my statement may not apply to the specific example of holding the door open for others, I hope I'm not deluding myself by thinking that it applies to the state of mind of certain women in regards to others.
