My bad. I didn't check that part number closely enough on Newegg.

But here's a photo off of Newegg of the Rosewill FBM-01-450P case listed, showing the blue 6-pin PCIe power connector that was mentioned by the OP. It also shows an 8-pin connector, which looks as though it may be the type that slides apart into two 4-pin connectors. That would be where the 4-pin ATX connector is located.

I don't even like looking at that.

Just IMHO.

Why does anyone give a redacted

Putting asterisks in place of letters isn't allowed either. Everyone knows what the intended word is.

Build is for his mom for web browsing, youtube, Google video chat, Kakaotalk/FB with her friends and family. Glad the "problem" was resolved.

Yes, a very nice gesture on his part. Depending on the mom, he may still spend a good time with it hereafter, so he might as well be happy with what he built

Another and final update for this thread:

Mom LOVED IT! She was coming from a super old Dell Pentium 4, almost 8-9 years old. That thing was literally falling apart and weighed a ton. It's truly a system from previous era.

While presenting the PC, I was talking up the system like a do-good salesman. I mentioned how the dollar went further since I cherrypicked the parts with the help of the consult from Anandtech GH- an internet board I belonged to for over a decade.

I even talked about the breakthrough of SSD and how it's a single major performance boost of recent history, similar to when broadband first rolled out from dial-up.

Mom was already lost, but dad kept up and was quite impressed.

This little clean squeaky beast of a machine booted to desktop in 7 seconds, lol.

It's a snappy mofo that boots/restarts like a toy. She LOVED it.

Thanks all again, lol I mentioned Anandtech and gave you guys full credit.

Which mobo did you use? I remember your thread in Memory & Storage, asking about an H61U3S3 mobo and a SATA6G SSD. Was that for this mom-puter, or a different one?

If it was for this one, I highly doubt that she could tell the difference between attaching a SATA6G SSD like an MX100 to an Intel SATA2 port, versus an ASmedia SATA6G.

Edit: Good job, though, sounds like your parents really like it.
