That time of year again - new wheels and winter mode

If it gets bad i will Stud them, they are studable from the factory and have holes already in them for the studs. Its not a super big deal anyways if i get stuck as i work for a tow company.

Studs are for ice, not snow. I don't think you can stud them after they've been driven on for any extended period of time, but I could be wrong there.

Snow fall in my neck of the woods is negligible, typically four to eight inches for the entire winter. Typically we get it in one half inch spurts every few weeks.

i put my winter tires on, but i'm auto crossing tomorrow, so i had to put my summer's back on

temp will be about ~55 tomorrow i think. earlier this week it was up near 70

Trying to get one last golf game in tomorrow at the local World of Golf, then oil change and winter tires on the diesel. Gonna miss those 18" summers

You called that one, like an inch or two today downtown here. Parked the car when we got here and wont use it til we leave on Monday though.

thankfully rocking the 20" all-seasons all year long. Snow's not so terrible in NY. My rears are 315 wide and it still does fine... just gotta know your limits. AWD helps too.

The last thing I want to do is have to store 4 tires and swap twice a year.
