That unscratchable itch ... ................

The pedal trick works well if you have the luxury of wearing loafers or shoes that slip off easy but I find a well placed 10" screwdriver does the trick, if a bondo rasp is not handy. Tapping your foot or trying to ignore it only makes it worse and will certainly force you to pull over to attend to it.
Does anybody know what causes that itch right there, its like no other itch in the world..

No matter how deftly you manage to get your finger inbetween your shoe and foot, youy know damn well that nothing will appease that itch except for full barefoot scratching, prefereably with a rasp or hack-saw.. .. What's with that and why does it only happen in the arch of the foot>>

I'm fortunate (or freakish) enough to have not evolved my hand like feet away. I have the good ole monkey feet with incredibly dexterous, prehensile toes.

I always get this itch on the bonier part of my shin. No matter how much I scratch it, it never seems to go away. I also have a problem with a certain bra who's underwire seems to rub at the most inconvenient of times.
