If its inert, I'd want it back. Place it in the front yard with a sign that says 'Trespassers will be dealt with.'
BUCKEYE, Ariz. A neighborhood in a west Phoenix suburb was evacuated for hours Friday evening after a man who was moving into a home he had just bought out of foreclosure found a military missile in the garage.
A Maricopa County sheriff's bomb squad removed the missile and later determined it was inert.
Lt. Jared Griffith of the Buckeye police says the man called for help after finding the missile standing up in a corner of the home's garage. The missile was 4- to 5-feet long and had "do not touch, do not move" markings painted on it.
The missile appeared to designed to be attached to a fighter aircraft.
Griffith says it was probably a souvenir the previous homeowner left behind.
Police evacuated 12 homes while they made sure the missile was safe.
