Miatas? Such a rare car. I think I saw more than 683 of them at the mall the other day walking back to my car. The 20th anniversary get together of McLaren F1's a few years ago was pretty cool. Unless it is a car that rare, I don't see the appeal of a record like this.

I don't think it was a record of any sort, but we got something like 300 S2000's together at Honda's North American headquarters a few years back. It was a lot of fun and comparatively a bigger feat than 600 Miatas. We rolled in by color. Driving the 405 with nothing but blue S2000's as far as the eye could see in every direction was very surreal.

Very cool. Gathering 683/~1M cars isn't impressive by itself. Doing it in any country outside of the US is considerably more impressive. That goes for any car given the automobile density in the US.
