Income plays a role just like time. You don't become rich overnight unless you hit the jackpot.

Definitely expensive trying to get hold of Japanese stuff, I feel your pain. Sometimes you can find albums for less than 25$ on Ebay if someone's dumping personal collection, but the shops charge $25+ for new stuff. Still beats buying it imported from a US retailer for $40+.

Speaking of which, I really hope the buri guri I bought makes it to me.

I guess it depends on what you mean by "baller", but I know several millionaires in their 30s that got there by working normal jobs. I also know a few people that take nothing but risks, and they have little to show for it.
