I was so tempted to wait until the release date, but when I decided to make my purchase, it was about 5 months prior. Still not sure if I had made the right call.

Here are the stats for the 39th day of the race in Folding@Home with Brony@Home
Stats are as of January 9, 2018, 17.30 UTC (approx).
The inter-team race stats are from the Folding@Home stats page and from EOC.com.

OK, I see from the numbers that the TeAm has increased production. It may be sufficient, however, if Brony@Home adds 10-15 powerful GPUs to the fray they may still win. So: we need to keep up production or, preferably increase production even more. I'll add some 700-800K to my production after coming week end ...

@Jupiter88,
According to the Extreme overclocking site, we are over 10% active
. I know that might not seem that awesome, but it is, only 6 or 7 other teams over 100 members on the board can boast that and Anandtech isnt one of them
EOC counts 2,487 inactive team members among us, versus 1,621 inactive team members among your team. But now consider the age of each team (team #198 of 227461, versus team #212997 of 227461). That puts quite a different light on our inactivity quota in comparison, doesn't it?

Ok, so if they add 10-15............I counter with 7........someone else will have to cover the remainder........
Yes, I'm dogging it right now. Waiting for the dreaded electric bill, but I'm here to tell you a 2 month race is a long time for me to run full bore. A guy needs to eat ya know!!

Here are the stats for the 40th day of the race in Folding@Home with Brony@Home
Stats are as of January 10, 2018, 18.45 UTC (approx).
The inter-team race stats are from the Folding@Home stats page and from EOC.com.

The difference between Brony@Home and the TeAm is now at 96.7M points. It is larger than ever, but we can not become complacent. As one of Brony@Home's team members said: "We will go down fighting ...". Those are fighting words and we may still see a counter attack.
Therefore: lets go on folding. Each and every ones´ points counts and are needed.

Speaking of which, I'm sorry, but I haven't put the shiny new GTX 1070 ti on F@H yet. Trying to build up some grocery money, since I spent all of my food budget this month on the card, with the hopes that it would eventually make me something in the black. I've got some other cards maybe coming today, that I ordered earlier than that card, and just took longer to get here. I could maybe setup a temp PC and run those for a few days.

My 1060 is doing like 452Kppd right now in Linux, can't wait to get more cards switched over.

Edit: English is my first language, I'm stating it for the record because it's hard to tell sometimes...

Yeah, I have it cranked up to 1999-2012Mhz or so, depending on its mood. Can't complain about that!

Now Newegg is selling GTX 1070's in six packs..................................... obviously targeting miners. Also bundles with risers. We are screwed, at least until something happens to level the playing field.

Update: Overclocking in Linux seems more likely to fail catastrophically when I'm not looking, so it seems that running at stock is what will be needed. It's probably still better ppd than OCed in Windows, the greater utilization more than makes up for the ~5% OC.

I'm still up to shipping cards from my work if anyone would like them. 1080 Strix is about $560, 1080ti strix is $770. Other brands are usually somewhere around there up or down $30.
Edit: On one hand, lol miners buying cards for twice their value like idiots.

Do you have EVGA 1080TI FTW3 cards ? Not the DT variant, the real one.

Sorry folks, no stats today ... have had a hard time driving home for more than 1600 km (approx 1000 miles) in less than 32 hours (incl. some sleep).
