Two months has seemingly turned into a slog for me. I don't know if I want such a long race again. At any rate, I'm in it til the end...

Well, I'm now in a panic. Stats are getting reported again, finally, but........... they are WAY too low. Hopefully this is just due to a backlog of processing the days worth of results, but if the work was lost...I'm gonna cry. For days on end. Or at least 2 seconds.

EOC at least hasn't backfilled/processed the missing data yet, just new results since stats went back up.

Stanford's personal stats page still shows me having a total of ~9M points higher than EOC.

EOC stats is now up to date as well. My production "today" will be 10M+

As far as production between the two teams goes for 1.13 through 1.15, it was as follows per EOC as of the 6PM CST update today:

Assuming that accurately reflects the two teams' production, we have increased our lead ~10M during the stats outage.

An impressive stat: At the next EOC update, both teams together will have produced 5,000,000,000 points this race! That's a really big number.

Just checked EOC and honestly I'm very happy because both of the ultra long WU (15+ hrs) were granted a good amount of credits (about 60k -70k each). But, I don't think of doing that again in the future. Any way to ditch certain WU from our F@H control?

Well, you can remove the folding slot, save, then add it back in, but you still may get the same unit. So I never try that.

I'll keep my fingers crossed, but the current re-install of the FAH client says that I've got a GPU folding now (again).

I believe you also need to delete the actual data in the appropriate folder(s).

I don't recall what is considered sufficient to properly remove all traces of a specific WU though.

I didn't have to wait for long. It showed up at 15:50UTC and I did what Mark and hiigaran said. By removing GPU slots and some db files in work folder and log file of specified WU in log folder below Folding Data main folder and voila, I have a normal WU again.

Here are the stats for the 46th day of the race in Folding@Home with Brony@Home
Stats are as of January 16, 2018, 20.15 UTC (approx).
The inter-team race stats are from the Folding@Home stats page and from EOC.com.

During the stats outage we have gained some 10 M points over Brony@Home. The difference is now 112 M points to out advantage. There are 15 more days of the race to go - and we can not be secure in our victory. Remember: Brony@Home dumped more then 111 M points in one day ... and it is not impossible for them to redo something similar. Also they only need 7-10 powerful GPUs added to the race and then they can win ...
So fold on, TeAm-mates.
The only guaranteed winner is Folding@Home and the science done in that project! The race has added 5 B points and quite a few WUs!

Might want to hold onto your horses for a bit. There may be a glut of supply soon given the bloodbath happening in the cryptocurrency world today (25%+ drops in prices). Hard to predict which way things will go but the more nervous types will be looking for the exits soon if the panic selling continues.

Hopefully meaning cheap farm expansion for me...

Prices don't seem to have changed much on amazon/ebay/newegg. If anything, they have gone up since yesterday. Real weird.

Honestly, I just dismiss coiners as legitimate teams. These projects are made so people can volunteer for a good cause. Don't get me wrong, computing power is computing power, but offering an incentive of payment seems like a cheap shot at other teams that do this simply because they want to make a positive impact.

Summed up with a paraphrased (and slightly dramatic quote in this context) quote I forgot the origin of: Expecting rewards for good deeds does not make one a good person.

(Though I'm aware of the irony of saying that, while we're hosting competitions)

Summary: The difference between the teams is now 120 M points. We are gaining almost daily. Since jan. 6 we have gained 30 M points. Not too bad. Still, if Brony@Home would find some way to produce 9 M points more than we do, they would pass us on the finish line ...
So: keep on folding, TeAm mates!
