Agreed, I think the most interesting part of that track is the pit exit.

Agree, Bahrain.. along with Valencia are the most boring tracks to grace F1.

If Raikkonen doesn't do something magical this race I'm discounting him from the Driver's Championship. Let's hope he can do a fast lap and he'll have a good race tomorrow. "A podium is possible here."

Red Bull is back with a vengeance. Vettel starts first; Webber third. Hamilton second. Nico Rosberg fifth because of errors.

We'll be saying the same thing next year and the one after that, lol.

But I do get his point about being consistent. Even if you're 'only' third, that's 15 points each race and it adds up quickly for both the Driver's and Constructor's Championship.

Set your clocks for 8 AM, gentlemen. This is shaping up to be a good battle.

Amazing race. Simply amazing. Lotus back into the game; Grosjean gets his first podium and a great battle between Raikkonen and Vettel.

Kimi just as emotionless in the post race interview, as always.

Kimi sounded disappointed on finishing second. Good job by Lotus.. and Vettel was very good. I am happy for Kimi and Grosjean. I never imagined Bahrain to be entertaining.. a lot of non-DRS overtaking too.

EDIT: Paul Di Resta was awesome for FI.. and botched up pitstops cost Hamilton his race.

Great result for Lotus and Kimi Raikkonen. I was hoping Vettel's Red Bull would blow up on the last lap.

I'm a huge Kimi fan.

I like Kimi a lot, too, but you have to admire Seb's efforts. People said he couldn't overtake, he proved them wrong in the last three races; people said he would be shadowed by his more experienced teammate because of an uncompetitive car, he proved them wrong today. So, even in a car that's not the best, he still shines. People bad mouthing him are mostly haters, and the main reason they hate is because he's very young yet he's a double World Champion.

Oh, and Kimi and Seb seem to get along pretty well from the interactions I've seen both in, so...

I'm secretly hoping The Iceman wins the Drivers Championship in his first year back. Just so Mr Cool can get into the post race interview of the round in which he win's the championship and says something like

"It was a good race. The tires were ok. The track was pretty dry and the grip on the car was pretty good, and the car had pretty good pace, and it was not easy overtaking Vettel.... and.... where's my ice-cream?"

Could be the same old effect. If you get out in front in the relatively clean air, you can run away. If you don't, you get bogged down and make little progress.

This was an interesting race. Not at all what I expected. McLaren was off the pace, really.

Strange year. You can't tell who will have a good race.
