...was the last I'd heard in the matter. My biggest concern is torque, acceleration and....SOUND!

I feel bad for Kobayashi but I almost care less about the drivers than the cars!

Engines remain the same. Turbo V-6 in 2014.

Maybe he wants to pull a shumi, on mercedes like shumi did with Ferrari. I doubt he will though, but they have brawn and mercedes engines. So who know. In a few years.

So, I'm getting all excited about the forecasted rainy race this afternoon.

But on another note: Who thinks that Kubica is going to get a seat next year?
He was racing some WRC this year, so he should be getting back into physical shape.
Crashing out in the penultimate stage of a rallye, with 5 minutes advantage is not the best way to start a comeback..
There's still some seats free, and a drive at Williams of Force India would be nothing to scoff at. Especially Williams could do with better drivers - Senna isn't brilliant, and Maldonado isn't consistent. Force India is losing Hülkenberg, so that seat is guaranteed to be free.

Of course, Kobayashi or Kovaleinen may also have their eyes on that seat...

...and more chaos. vettel ran from last to 6th already before changing for rain tires. he still has the title as they run now

Wonder if the yellow flag thing will cost Vettel the Championship yet.
A 20 second demotion would certainly have that effect, what with the race ending under the safety car.

Not sure how the rules are about the stewards being notified of an incident (somewhat significantly) after the race.

It's been cleared up.

He went past Kobayashi after a yellow sector (so behind the green light), but then finished the move in a sector that was giving yellow-red lights for "slippery surface", which on the TV images looked like yellows. So the BBC and Sky where wondering why the stewards were not intervening. After the race the FIA came out saying that those weren't yellows, so no problem.

Vettel was still lucky to get away with ramming Senna out of the way....both physically regarding the damage and without any penalty/investigation.

But then, it's not like Alonso got his fare helping dished out by Fortuna.

All in all, I am happy that Vettel won, because he did so, with a team that was always going for the constructor title first, whereas Massa was always there for Alonso, when he needed that little extra help.

I just don't see where Kubica will ever be an F1 driver again. Such a shame too, because he was a huge talent. I would have liked to have seen what he could have done in a good car.

Yes, at this last race.
But Massa was helping Alonso all season.
The grid farce at Austin was probably the crowning moment.
