McLaren effectively put a gag on the 2008 world champion after newspapers in Germany and Britain reported Sutil had branded Hamilton a "coward" for failing to back him in a trial that ended on Tuesday.

"Lewis is a coward. I do not want to be friends with someone like that," Sutil, who had previously counted on Hamilton as one of his closest friends in the paddock after being team mates in the junior Formula Three Euro series, told Bild newspaper.

"For me he is not a man. Even his father sent me a text message to wish me good luck in the trial. He (Lewis) changed his cell phone number. I could not even reach him anymore."

Asked about the comments, Hamilton was prevented from replying by a team spokesman who intervened.

Well, the car looks OK. Not much change from last year though. Not a big fan of excessive chrome.

Apparently the greater height under the nose allows more air to flow to the leading edge of the sidepods for more downforce but also raised the center of gravity. They went with a pullrod to lower it. The car looks good and aggressive... I hope it's a winner.

It looks like it has a very tight rear end... hidden by the exhaust bodywork.

Lotus reviled their car today. I have to say.. it looks pretty good.. even with the stepped nose. I guess it comes down to the livery, but it is good to look at.

Aside from the fact that Rexona and Clear anti dandruff.. being prominent on the car. D:

they are blowing the front wing, like mercedes tried last year. the plumbing runs down through the wing and exits in long slits across it. when the critical air pressure is reached at high speed, the duct kicks in and changes the airflow over and through it. air pressure itself switches the effect on and off, with no moving parts.
