Women are stupid in some ways, they'd rather have one big day than enough for the downpayment on a house for the rest of their future.

a few have some sense

i was talking to a woman a few weeks ago, her father is quite well off and told her that whenever she got married, hed either pay for a rather large, fancy wedding and that would be her gift, or hed pay for a smallish wedding and give her and her husband a chunk of change that would pretty easily suffice as a down payment on a home.

she seemed to have already made her mind up as to taking the gift in the form of a downpayment and just having close friends and family at the wedding.

I would do the same as that woman you just described. I don't understand how it is even justifiable to spend so much for one day. Forget $300,00, even $30,000 is way too much for me.

Thanks for posting the direct links.

I was a server/busboy at a banquet hall for a couple years during weekends. I'm so sick of weddings it's unbelievable.

That said, I would have liked to have checked out that one :Q

Agreed.

Tori Spelling got divorced a little while ago. Her wedding to Charlie Shanian cost $1 million, and the union lasted a year. If you do the math, that's almost $3,000 a day.

I don't understand. Does the bride love her husband AT ALL?

God fvcking damn. If I were the groom I'd take the bride out and have her publicly executed in front of all her family and friends for raising such a bullsh!t sack of flesh.

A bit harsh. :Q

Meh, not really. With $300,000 you can put MULTIPLE children through college and help out lots of other people too. Her life would be an easy trade-off for me.

My mistake, she divorced Charlie Shanian.

The wedding must have been a blast to go to, but the whole thing is just insane. I hope they're really rich-- otherwise that woman is really dumb and selfish. (Well, she might still be if they're rich, but at least her expenses would be more logical.)

I'd love to go to a wedding like that. I sure as hell wouldn't want it to be mine though.

that last picture of her with that wretched smirk on her face just makes me want to deck her sqaure in the nose, knowing what she just did. :|
