Thanks for the stats, petrusbroder!!!
Some of you may recall that I had a stability problem on one of my computers, and I changed the cpu devider back to the default. I was advised to try again and to raise the memory voltage. Today, I changed the divider back to 13; my memory is now running at 400 MHz instead of 326. There was not a place in the bios to change the memory voltage. I can change the cpu voltage and the pci-express voltage. I'm hoping that the pci-express voltage is connected to the memory; I changed it from 1.20v to 1.30v. I ran memtest86 for a while with no problems, so I restarted fah. It has been running for 42 minutes without any problems.
Maybe someone out there knows if the pci-express voltage relates to memory voltage. The mobo is an Asus A8R-MVP.
Edit: 12/16/2008, 1425 PST -- I went over the review that Anandtech did on the board, and there is a screenshot of the bios, and the DDR Voltage is shown. Hmmm - maybe I need to update the bios so that I can have access to the ddr voltage.

Just really quick, the Pci-e and memory are seperate and have no relation to each other. And usually, it is better to update the Bios. Just take caution when doing it.
Also, a hint, When I go into my Bios on my Gigabyte Mobo's, I can hit "F1" before I enter the MIT area ( overvlocking, or tweaking section) and it gives me things normally not seen if I were just go into that area. So, check your manual and see if you have something simular. I am not all up to date with Asus as I haven't had one for quite some time.

I found the DDR Voltage setting in the bios. I went to the OCZ webisite to see what the voltage recommendation is for my memory. There were 2 settings. v1.x -- 2.6v and v2.x -- 2.8 v.
I set mine to 2.8 v and restarted everything. So far -- "Alles ist in ordnung!"

I've read lots of posts about that particular card. Lots of theories, but no one seems to know just why it is more problematic than the other models

I understand Drsignguy. I'm just glad we are buying vid cards and computer parts, and not cars or boats to race. I'd be broke for sure.....
