Thats 10 of 11 boxes.9 of the 11 are quads, 2 dual-cores. 8 of the 11 are dual-card boxes, and 2 are triple card boxes, and one is a single. I have 2 250gts one gig cards coming on the 30th for the last box.

What is this, carma ? I can barely stand the heat from the extra 25k ppd, but thats almost exactly what I added. Somehow I knew we needed it.

Any chance you could run an extension cord from another circuit to a power strip? I do that in the summer to be able to run 3 window air conditioners at the same time.

If you run it along walls it won't be too conspicuous.

I think we have 3 breakers in the apartment. Kitchen. Master Bedroom. Everything else. I don't think I have a choice other than remove the lowest PPD machines.

I have been having problems on my new 920 machine, with it locking up. First I thought too much OC, went all the way down to 3.4, and it still locked up. Then I thought PSU, so I changed out the 1010 watt unit with a Corsair 750. No change. Then another guy on the CPU forums was having the same problem, in an I5 750 and an ATI 5770, and he updated his video drivers, and that fixed it. So I updated to 195.(something) nvidia drivers and I got 500 ppd on the same units !

When I get time I may upgrade the rest in the house.

As for power, I have my machine spread over 4 breaks, one is a 20 amp circuit.

EDIT: The second box I put it on, made it EUE on both GPU's !!!! I am reverting back to 182.06 on that box.

Dual cards put out enough heat. But 3, wow, couldn't imagine how much heat that generates. I know virtual larry had a 4 card setup but his top card was smoked because of the heat. That would suck.

I was however, looking into a 3 card setup with my next i7 build but still contemplating. I really have to check out the best case for cooling and one that not only fits my budget, it has to look good...

I'm more of a CPU guy. But all of my boards except 2 only have space for 2 cards anyways. I'm stocking up for CPUs like dual E5520's.

Almost all of my rigs are back up. Happy Crunching to the END.
