they now have the offer for the trade in towards and iphone 6, that was not there when i first went to that page the other day. and yeah, i did put my ip4 in there and they will give me $200 for it so holy shit. i'm going to submit this and after i do my transfer of all my stuff to my iphone 6, i'll send it in and get a $200 gc. not bad at all!

and people always compliment me with how nice it looks. It barely adds any size to it so I'm guessing the Neos will be even thinner.

I like the first one. Can't go wrong with either first or second. The third one says its a gel type case. It may be more comfortable for holding but I have one for my HTC one and over a few months it became dirty.

that 3rd one is the exact one i've had on my ip4 for 3+ years and i love it. it basically just protects it from getting scratched when setting it down and stuff or in my pockets. i've dropped it a few times as well and have never had issues. if it was amazon prime shipping i'd get that one in a heartbeat.

and i like the "smooth black" color of the 1st one the best, however it's out of stock until september 30th.

Yea it sucks its Asia. Do they have any tpu gel cases? I've also dropped my phone with the same gel case and noticed no damage at all. It's almost like a bounce effect as long as you don't drop it screen first.

I have one like that in black as well. I also like that it makes the phone look completely natural like it almost has no case.

Amazon always links the main item that you search for regardless of what sub-option you choose after clicking their search-provided link. So, when you said it wasn't prime-eligible, I was a bit confused as the link directs to a 6 (not 6+) case that is prime eligible. Now, I see that the 6+ cases are not prime eligible, but at least they're the same price when adding price + shipping! I might pick one up; it covers more of the bottom than the Apple case does and for 1/10 the price!!

I don't think gold is very popular in the U.S. I haven't seen any gold iPhones in the wild, though there may have been a few hiding behind cases (which almost defeats the point of getting a specific color anyway) but the grey or silver models seem more popular.

However, apparently gold is apparently far more popular in Asia. I would imagine that they'll eventually get it all evened out.

Yeah, that's true. I ordered two more cases, and both of them should be here before the 19th. Now, hopefully, my phone will be too!

They're absolutely more rare in the US than in other places. When I traveled to China and HK in the summer, they were all over the place. In the US, a lot of white iPhones are still just silver iPhones.

With that said I do know a few people with the gold iPhone for sure.

I'm betting Apple sells far more space grey iPhones than the rest, but what happened last year was they probably didn't allocate enough inventory for gold iPhones, and then there was a massive shortage.

When I ordered a bunch of iPhone 5s for my users last year none wanted the gold. All said it looked stupid and they were right. I'll probably order myself the ip6+ in grey on the companies dime.

Looked into this for a relative and discovered that Staples of all places is doing preorders this year. I bet they aren't being swamped because no one associates them with iPhone stampedes.

Never. Android discounts are seasonal (holiday) and vis-a-vis other Android launches.

Can't believe its selling out even before reviews are out. Either apple users really trust apple to continue creating good phones or apple users really don't care about performance and its all about the brand and ecosystem.

Android phones don't have this luxury, users wait for reviews even before considering one.

Good thing I was able to transition my wife to the HTC m8 before this came out or else she would have gotten it for sure, for now goodgoodbye iTunes.
