I picked up a 6 yesterday, they seemed to have pretty good stock of them around here. So far it's a pretty nice phone, it fits in my hand pretty nicely and to me it doesn't feel that slippery.

So far the battery life has been alright, I'm coming from a G2 which seems to hold up a little better throughout the workday but that might just me playing with it more throughout the day.

The only things that have been annoying me so far is the lack of back button and the ability to go straight from quick settings to the full settings. Plus the google music app is kind of glitchy graphically on the artist view, but I'm guessing that just needs an update for the new resolution or something. Also swype is pretty buggy, it keeps reverting back to the main keyboard for me.

So far though everything else has been running really well, the camera is great and touch ID has worked really well for me so far. The speaker seems really good to me and the headphone output seems good too. The biggest thing I'd change is to just make the back flush with the camera and put in a bigger battery, the battery life is pretty good but could always be better.

Just turn off the main keyboard.

We have been hearing a lot of Apple's record breaking sales. And that's cool and all. The figure I'd like to see while I"m waiting until almost November for my phone, is how many phones Apple is actually shipping. Seems like there is a big gap between those figures.

So I phones /iPads can play mkv files now, good to hear.
Can you drag and drop files from your computer (videos, mp3)?
Can you view /browse/delete files in your phone (esfile explorer)?

These were my struggles with iPhone (wife's) that keep me away from them. That and I like to tinker an customize.

Peace

The only way to drag and drop is through iTunes. However that is on a per app basis and it still requires a sync. If you drag a file over for nPlayer, it won't be accessible in vlc, and vice versa. If you want both, you have to drag it in twice, because the data is walled off between apps.

No esfile equivalent.

I picked up a 5

64gb, under $250.
Good price. Used?

Never had an issue with my iPhone but I never tried storing .mkv files or anything.

Apple handles internet videos better than Android. Pretty much any video online will open the stock Apple video app and play, whether it's flash, youtube, or what not. That's something I had issues with Android for a long time.

Never had that issue with Android. Ever use the MX Player for Android? Plays everything.
