Those huge bezels are just ugly. Glad they rounded out the edges which helps holding it but still, those huge bezels make it feel like a much larger phone. Only way around that would have been either shrinking the home button or removing it all together which we know would never happen.

A few years ago when I was using my GNex for mobile payments, it was pretty amazing to see people's reactions. Six months from now? A common occurrence in everyday life.

I already refuted this in the other thread.

What's happening is the credit card companies' requirement that all payment terminals accept tap&pay by 2015 is finally kicking in. NFC simply piggybacks on that existing protocol/infrastructure, which is why "PayPass" has been the easiest way to find Google Wallet-enabled terminals. Has nothing to do with Apple except they don't want to lose the market to Google or Softcard (formerly ISIS) or whatever.

We all have different opinions, right? I greatly prefer the home button. And I think it would look really strange to have a large bottom bezel and a small top bezel.

Boo it ended up being the exact design of the leaks. The sides and back looked super ugly to me in the leaks, still look ugly now.

I'm sure they will. They will likely drop the 5S to $100 on contract and the 5C to $0 on contact. And finally retire the 4S.
