I think its bad enough that more and more illegal immigrants come into this country and throw off our economy. It's even worse when those people only speak spanish or their own native language.
I have nothing against the Mexican/Spanish people, but I don't respect (And I get seriously agitated) when they try to push their language on ours.
But now, OUR National Athem in Spanish, THE AMERICAN ONE, F-in B.S.
I only have one thing so say to the people who changed that song; GTFO! Now!
But it's OK for you, the Good Ol Flag Waving Patriotic American to push your language on them? Double standard FTL?

Wow, why are so many people so upset? Shouldn't you all be happy that people who don't even speak the language still want to show their patriotism? Isn't this like translating the bible into different languages? Maybe it's because i'm Canadian, but if i were to find out that some other people (who don't speak English) were singing the Canadian anthem in their language, i would feel pretty damn good.

It's our fvcking country, no double standard, you should be required to know english before moving here.
Yes, you can spew all the wonderful facts about how we kicked Native Americans off their land and whatnot, but that was a long time ago, and long done.
All of the goddamn politicians are too big of a fvcking pussy to pass legislation making American English our official national language for fear of losing the minority vote. You know what I say to politicians? Fvck you!! We live in a democratic republic, by nature the majority are the ones you should care about. Now, I am not saying minorities should be persecuted, I am saying that they should be forced to change to our society, not the other way around.
If English was made our official language, we wouldn't be obliged to provide translation services, and anyone complaining can be told to suck our collective dicks.
Sooner rather than later, if our politicians keep bending over to the fvcking minorities, we will become the minority in our own country.
I am also sick of the double standard racism. A minority can construe anything they want to sound like the "white man" or even the "black man" is oppressing them, but white, and even in some areas now, black, people are being treated just as badly by racist minorities, and can't do anything about it.
