I just started watching "The Americans" on Netflix and really like it. 3 episodes in and its entertaining and great to watch, although not with children in the room.

Anyone else like this show? I can't stand CSI type mock dramas and sitcoms, but like the premise of this show and the scenarios it presents. Plus, its nice hearing about the Reagan era politics.

Zoomed through the first 2 seasons in a weekend, the 2nd season is incredible and starts off as strong as you can imagine.

The Americans is damn good, better than the trash on other networkslike horrible NBC type shows. The South American angle last season threw me off, a little confusing but maybe I missed something

just wait, it gets better. i watched the first couple of episodes when they originally aired and didn't get into the show at the time. a few months ago i gave it another shot and marathoned all three seasons in no time.

It IS a good show though.

There was one episode in the second season that had a ridiculous amount of man-ass; pretty sure that was a response to some of the complaints about disrobed women in the first season.

Interesting first episode of the season, not bad but not overly good either, some curious situations seem to arise if I'm reading the season look-ahead scenes correctly.
