Interesting episode tonight, glad they're concentrating more on Martha.

Took her long enough to realize what was going on.
I am unsure if she will kill herself first after saying "I'm sorry!", or they will get to her first, and off her.

Either way, I don't see a future for her in the show anymore.

Love this show. Binge watched all of it from s1e1 to the present over the past 2 weeks. Great performances from Kerry Russell and Mathew Rhys.

One of my favorite episodes was in season 1, when Reagan was shot by Hinkley, and Al Haig famously said, "I'm in control here at the White House" - while Americans laughed at him for being an egotistical buffoon, the Russians actually thought there had been a coup!

They traced the line to the park, yet, only 2 agents went?
... I could go on, but I am so annoyed at the show right now.

Now, it seems she will be on the plane with the virus heading to Cuba for next week.

caught up with this show last week and damn, this season i'm really liking. this has to be the most underrated tv show on tv. the acting is pretty solid on it too. thought it was on tonight but was sad to see it's tomorrow lol.

they didn't say where she was in the park, just that she was there. and i'm sure there were more than just the 2 agents, but they just focused on those 2 agents since they're the main characters.

A few weeks ago I did some research on est. It turns out that it's basically still around but goes by another name. It seems Elizabeth was pretty spot on about how it operated.

can someone explain to me what happened with the asian lady? i was kind of half watching it earlier cause i was watching my son and couldn't go back to watch it, but i saw that she watched the kids when they went on vacation. but she didn't seem to find anything, and then went and slept with her husband so she could be out of the picture. did she just realize that it was a waste of time and nothing came out of it and realize that she was just a bad mark with no intel? or did i miss something else?

elizabeth didn't find any usable blackmail material so she resorted to drugging the korean lady's husband and making it look like they slept together. the husband is the real mark with level 4 clearance at the bioweapons lab.

One noticeable production/editing strategy on The Americans is the relative lack of music . . only used for an occasional dramatic accent. On so many other drama type productions the music is overwhelming to the point of annoyance.

So, it turns out to be his word against hers...there is no proof.

Thought the finale was anticlimactic. Some tense moments in the beginning but if you saw previews you knew what was coming. Was sad seeing the lab guy like that, he was my favorite character of the season and now he's just wasting away. Then Directorate S stuff was weird too, Arkady will be exiled AND his son is going back to Russia even though that woman isn't going to Kenya now? And what's the deal with (I assume) Phillip's kid in Russia, is he going to try and track him down now? Could be interesting, but the long episode just seemed to flounder a lot.

I agree. I love this show. I was a little disappointed with last nights finale. It's not that it was bad, I don't think I've ever seen a bad episode. I just expected something different. Still, I thought it was a great season.
