Hello, James Here. I'm a technologist (lol) I guess I just love to geek out on tech, tech news, etc. Been massively into computers since I was a wee boy in the early 90's, and building my own PC's ever since. I also like cars and stuff, but right now my kids have kinda displaced my car-habit. For now

EDIT: Stoked for the IDF Keynote today!

Hey everybody.

I'm Alex Vodă and there is something you are not telling us about that screwdriver.
It is not a quadruple function screwdriver, it is a sextuple function screwdriver.
In addition to two Phillips head sizes (PH1, PH2) and two flat head sizes (5, 6) it also has two external hex head cap sizes (8, 9).
Also you can sort of use hex bits with a hex bit extension. They fit perfectly but unfortunately the hex bit extension will easily slide out of the screwdriver because the spring locking mechanism is in the two dual-head attachments instead of in the main shaft. I wonder if this can be fixed with some magnets.

On the forums for a few years but I've been rather inactive. I mainly joined a discussion when a web search led me to the Anandtech forums.

BTW, where do you ship these screwdrivers?

I'm a long time reader, but this is my first post. I work in the video games industry doing hardware certification for our titles. I owe a lot of my knowledge to this website and wouldn't be where I am today without it. Thanks for everything Anandtech.:awe:

Hi, my name is aikouka, and I... I am a neffer.

I've been using computers for quite a while. Given that both of my grandfathers worked for IBM, I'd like to think that it's genetic or something! I knew that I wanted to do software development after writing my first batch script, which I did because I got tired of having to manually load mouse drivers on an old IBM 286-based PC. I built my first PC when I was 15, and I've been doing that ever since.

Hi, I'm Howard. I've been lurking around Anandtech for over 15 years. I'm a geek in general. Hoping to participate more now that I started with this reply.

One of the first memory after joining Anandtech was the Newegg/Radeon LE saga. In the Hot Deals forum, someone posted this little known company called Newegg was selling a 32MB DDR Radeon for an insanely low price and free FedEx 2-day shipping. Back in those days, getting computer parts shipped ground was at least $10, let alone 2-day.

When people got theirs though, they found it was clocked much lower and performed slower than it should even after overclocking. So a lot of people returned their cards thinking it was not a real Radeon DDR. A few weeks later, people found that HyperZ was disabled in the drivers, but it can be re-enabled with a registry change, making the card as fast as a real Radeon. Meanwhile, Newegg starting selling the returns as "refurbished" (if you still remember, newegg Refurbished items were just open box returns before they changed it recently) at an even lower price. So the rush was on for $39 refurb Radeon DDR cards. It was such a rush that it forced Nvidia to release their version of a cut-down flagship, the VisionTek GeForce2 GTS-V 32MB. I still have that card in a machine.

Hey There,

I have been reading Anandtech for a few years since I got my first laptop. Growing up i spent time with Desktop's and Linux distro's (I'm 29 so 1999 to 2006ish) and then i moved out on my own and couldn't afford PC's for awhile. Around 2010 got back into things and now Anandtech reviews fuel me to buy GTX 970's, Asus Zenbooks and Zenphones because i just can't say no to new things, lol. I work in the eLearning Training Industry so Tech is a part of things but my PC desires are more personal that professional.

Desktop: Core I5 4690, 16 GB RAM Hyper X Fury DDR3, 256GB OCZ SSD, ASUS Geforce GTX 970 Turbo, Antec Case, Asus Intel H81M-E, 65" LG 4K TV UB9200

Laptop: ASUS Zenbook UX303LN, Core I7 4510U, 8 GB RAM, 256GB SSD, Geforce GT 840M, 3200x1800 Touchpanel

Hi, I'm a frequent reader of AnandTech but I haven't been visiting the forums. I think this is a nice chance to start.

I have been around here since the beginning, but not really a forum participant. I am a software engineer, formerly with Microsoft currently with another one of the big four.

Hi there, gaming nerd, mostly read news and rarely post in PC gaming forum.

Also grumble to myself constantly that my ideal monitor will never exist (RIP 16:10)

Hi. I am a fan of Anandtech (for those long and detailed hardware analysises) and I love the reviews (especially because I could never afford them). I am not a "social" person, and feeling a little awkward in communities like forums, but i'll try my best!

Hey guys. It's been awhile. It's almost been a year since my last post and almost two since I've been a regular to the forums (still reading the articles daily though!).

Most of you that would remember me would probably remember me from Cases and Cooling and the ATDC Distributed Computing Team F@H Races.

I'm a member of the tech industry, but used to work for start-up sized companies so I had to freedom to do side projects like the sheer amount of computers I ran for a home office. Nowadays, I'm still in the industry but my current positions allots a lot fewer freedoms in time and extracurricular activities.

But I lost my screwdriver when I moved last month. Seriously. Have the bits but no driver. I'd seriously love an AT screwdriver!
