From what I have seen it looks like its going to be good
Probably will set the dvr to record both nights so I can watch it all at once without all the commercials.

Anyone else going to watch ?

I think it may be a remake that does the original justice.

oldschool is awesome
we used to do that with Lost during Season 2, because my sister and dad usually missed it. Hell, used to do that with a lot of shows until the local cable company offered DVR service with the digital cable and my parents went with that.
Except I was usually there to do tape it, so I'd stop recording when commercials hit. Being late to stop it wasn't always a problem, maybe one or two commercials would get taped. Sometimes I forget to start it when the show came back on. lol Usually only meant a brief moment was missed. heh

Not sure what I'm going to do with this one. Either record it, torrent it so I can get an HD copy, or watch it. But doubt I'll go that route since I have a paper and presentation due tomorrow... which reminds me, probably should get back to that.

yeah, that was one of the things that made me want to watch.
I haven't seen a bad movie from him yet.

No doubt... he's in my top five directors for sure.

I see you mentioned Daniel Dae Kim as an actor from Lost, I'm guessing that's Jin? He's a pretty good actor, I remember seeing him on 24 a few times as well.

This was better than the original. Crichton's book had a typically wishy-washy Crichton ending that was anticlimactic at best. This time they changed the story enough so that humankind doesn't win quite so easily.
