seriously though. The level design is just horrid in that game.

as for his take on Karate Kid, I agree with the point that it eventually becomes you against the Nintendo, where you want to prove to the system that you can beat the game.

That was TMNT: The Arcade Game. That version rocked.

Sometimes he just rambles too much but some of it is pretty funny and very true. Top Gun f'n blows and I NEVER landed the f'n plane. I don't know anyone who did it. Its pure bullcrap. Karate Kid is also a pile of crap with all the bouncing around and getting hit in the head with pigeons. His Rocky review is ok. I owned the game many moons ago for the master system and despite the fact that the game only has three opponents (Apollo, Clubber Lang and Drago) I could never beat the game. lol Drago is impossible.

Ditto.
I think what makes his rants so great is that he picks out things that even 20 years later you would remember. I described that exact same bit to a buddy of mine the other day and despite my horrid attempt at relating the episode, my buddy knew exactly what I was talking about in terms of that jump in TMNT.
