You cant live off soda and pizza. You can die of it though.

Depending on what kind of pizza you get it's probably got enough of everything you need that you could live for quite a long while. It isn't necessarily health food, but it's not much worse than the diets of many people in the world right now. Pile a lot of different veges on and limit the amount of dough and there are far worse things you could be eating.

Dropping the soda entirely would be a good idea though. That stuff is just straight up bad for you which is why if I ever drink any I make sure to cut it with at least 50% whisky.

I think the prognostication about crypto being doomed is about the same as it completely reinventing the world's economy. Neither is very likely honestly.

You may be spot on with your assesment, though there are still new crypto projects which look quite promising. Some people just don't like going to the moon I guess. But now is when you refuel on the dips for future moon visits!

Yeah I agree it is just if you are not building a new machine that power supply is kind of useless.

I have no less than 4 extra PSUs at any given time. Test bench and back ups for existing systems. They all get used here and there, to make certain they don't die from sitting in a closet. Felt good knowing I had no worries when the supply dried up not long ago, and prices spiked.

isnt it even worse in terms of chemical coctail? one of those things that has labels all over from State of California as in 'known to cause cancer' warnings?? sorry, not really crypto related.

as for Larry, I wish him/her well - posting the possession of 700 hashrate is probably not good for karma if people thing about all of those GPUs this person got.. bad karma is bad..

LOL you definitely don't know Larry. He has the best karma of anyone I know. And he ALWAYS has tons of PC parts, most BNIB. He bought all those cards before the boom. And he often gives free stuff when you buy from him.

For the record, I don't own ANY Ampere or RX 6000-series cards, so don't try to blame "the shortage" on me.
My farm is mostly all RX 5700(XT) cards (bought before the shortage), or 1660/Super/Ti cards. Maybe a couple of odd GTX 1650 cards too, though they don't make much, and they don't count towards my ETH hashrate.

Yeah I always mined with old cards too. Never made sense to me to mine with the latest and greatest gamer cards. Used crap tuned for low voltage was where it was at. Not now, obviously.

Yep, after all that, four extra power supplies did the trick. Graphics cards will be falling from the sky any day now.
