The Astros Will Win the NL Wild Card

Stros are on a tear, and it looks like they may be making a run at topping last year's stellar comeback from last place to one win away from the World Series.

If the Stros can add one bat... Adam Dunn, perhaps.... they'd be pretty formidable, even in October.

Look at their last 30 games... They have been playing .700 ball since climbing out of last place.

Which also includes a series versus the Nationals, who are slumping big-time. Well I shouldn't say slumping, I should say they're playing at the level which they should've been, which is the caliber of a almost basement dwelling NL East team.

The Stros are playing well, but we'll see how they stack up against the Phillies and the Mets over the next week and a half.

The hottest teams in baseball, the Astros and A's, continued their ascent with wins Sunday.

Go Stros! Will see them play the Mets next week. Nobody in the Wild Card Race can match their starting pitching, and that's what wins in the fall.

Haha I would say QFT on that first part if I wasnt a cubs fan . But btw, I do live in Houston, and I can already tell you, The Astros will bring everyone in the city up, all to make the fall even more disapointing.

Oh, I thought the biggest and funniest failure was the cubs and the giants losing a 6 game lead to us with 2 weeks left in the regular season. As a fan of baseball, I looked at last year's run by the Astros as a great point in their team history. I guess if they continue this every year I'll become as bitter as cub fans. To see the killer bees within one game of the WS was GREAT!!!

seriously, what is a cubs fan doing talking about failure? i don't know what is more improbable, the cubs giving up 6 games in 2 weeks or the yanks losing all those games to boston
