Screw BF4, I'm going back to Goldeneye and Perfect Dark.
Forget that. I'm going back to Dig Dug and Donkey Kong.

Pre-load will be at least 24 hours before the game launches (if you ordered on Origin). My question is how soon before game launchs will Amazon(BF4) and GMG(Premium) send me my keys to enable me to start downloading?

Bah, you aren't hardcore unless you are on a BBS MUD.
It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.Bah, you aren't hardcore unless you are on a BBS MUD.
I did a pre beta upgrade -> 1TB EVO SSD.
Maybe another upgrade post BF4 launch depending on how the cards hold up to the final build optimizations. The 580's were not bad on a 1440 monitor.

Remember the BF3 launch where we all used proxies to register in some foreign country (was it Korea?) so we could download and play before everyone else? Yeah, I don't remember that either
Anywho, speaking of upgrades, I may try using a 32" 1080p TV I have kicking around, but if it sucks, I will keep using my 1050 monitor. I think I might want to upgrade the old 6850. What say you guys, 7870 MYST @ $140 or 7950 @ $180? I don't want to spend more than I have to, but I want to see some eye candy! I will not be overclocking. I have a i5 2400. Thanks!
Can this still be done?Remember the BF3 launch where we all used proxies to register in some foreign country (was it Korea?) so we could download and play before everyone else? Yeah, I don't remember that either

If yes, does it only apply if you haven't bought the game yet, or?
7950
BF4 Preload is 25gigs, also amazon.com will have codes to you before then.
Standardized in what way? I am sure in Europe it launches several days after America, which royally pissed me off.
If Wikipedia is to be believed you are actually right and I was wrong thinking it be the same across regions.

I guess the best way to unlock early for people out of NA is use a NA VPN to login and unlock. Seems completely asinine to me to release such a major title staggered this way, particularly a multiplayer focused one.
So any pre-order deals around? I didn't get the GMG email so...
