Everbody spam DICE and ask for a "BF Classic" preset in addition to Normal and Hardcore.

Normal Damage, No 3DS, Squad Leader Spawn Only, No Regen, Magazine - No Ammo Pool, FF On

yeah I don't see why non-hardcore servers can't have 3Dspotting turned off.

Do your lock ups end in a fraction of a second long sound loop that repeats indefinitely? That's what most mine are when the cause of crash is on my end.

That's like 51% of mine. The other 49% is when it just black screen freezes with the cursor working.

I manage to join once in a while but the biggest issue is once in game, crashing before the round is over. Less than 30 secs before I started typing post I had a good round andjust crashed about a minute before the battle was over and I crashed.

I just got done playing a few games. I generally play till it crashes so ive gotten between 0 and 5 games lol.

been playing Team Deathmatch and enjoying that more than the domination. Though i tried it on 64 and the maps just felt way to small and to "rushed". Went to a 32 player and it was tons better for me. Actually got up to 1:1 KD ratio for most of the games. (though overall im still at like .5 lol)


And the spawns were starting to annoy me. Seemed like it would spawn me right in front of an enemy a bunch of times so i was dead before i could even move >.< I dont mind when that happens when i spawn on a squad mate but its annoying when its the game that does it.


But o well....still looking for more people to play with..long as you dont mind a noob whos ejust in it for fun

It's really sad and disappointing to see a BF4 thread in a forum and all it's filled with are posts on technical issues. I've always been a big supporter of DICE and their battlefield games, but I will say that BF4 has been rather disappointing on a personal level.

I recently built a new computer with the hope of having an amazing time with BF4, but I feel like DICE dropped the fucking ball on the launch of this game. I've encountered so many bugs, while not game breaking, make me wonder what kind of sloppy ass job of a release is this. I just spent 120 bucks on a game that's riddled with broken shit

They were probably spread a little thin this time around since they are essentially releasing on 5 platforms at once, 2 of which are completely new. I dont think this launch was as bad as BF3. I used to get really bad graphical corruption. People could hide in the map geometry and kill you. I would have to look at the BF3 thread to remember all the grievances. Aside from the lag, this release isn't too bad. Granted, I do get probably 2 crashes a night. And there are times when I know the game wants to crash, but I alt-tab out, then bring it back to the foreground and it sorta unfreezes. I guess my expectations for games on launch has been lowered dramatically over the years. The lag is the only real downer, as I'd rather have fast gameplay and crash then lag.

Well Said and I echo your sentiment. Big fan since the BF2 Demo...2005 days. This launch is really heart wrenching.

Don't know if it's been posted yet but a server side patch was pushed out tonight to resolve the server crashes. So far, our server has been up and running for 3 hours since the patch.

Ughh. Tonight anytime I get on a good server and on any kind of roll, I lock up. It's really frustrating. Looks like they patched the game and Ive been doing it since the patch. No lock ups before it.

All drivers up to date, etc.

There is a new AMD driver out as well, seems the drivers are locking up the game as well.

Yea it's horrible especially since I use 100 fov in multiplayer

I'm addicted to HC mode now, nothing quite beats wiping three players on a single clip.

One problem I currently have is light flickering that happens at night time. I don't entirely get what is going on but on the mission to get the VIPs from the building I saw quite a bit of light flicker heading up to the building and then this really odd effect on the stairs which was really weird and distracting. I caught a video of the later effect which I have linked below (not a spoiler).

(ShadowPlay really does mute the colours quite a bit, but at least it doesn't impact my frame rate).
