I'm ready to throw my computer out the window because of this damn game. I lose about 1/3rd of my progress because the game / servers keep crashing. This game is not ready for prime time yet!

I've gotten stuck in the console a couple times. Typically the ~ toggles it on/off, but even that stopped working.

Probably not. Only headshots are one shot.

I can't control the heli or the jet with the mouse, it pulls the the left and I crash every time. When I move the mouse it just don't responds, setting are default. Can anyone help.

What is up with the zoom? It keeps getting interrupted randomly. I will click and hold right mouse to zoom in on something and then it randomly just zooms back out. Sometimes even while zooming in. So frustrating

Go into settings, and change them from default, to your liking.

He is doing it wrong, sniping in BF games has never been like he is doing, you have to rest between shots. He just reloads and fires each time. Sniping feels different in the game, but I don't feel i'm missing shots at all.

You can quick scope with the sniper rifles in BF3.

There are two, but you have to find them on the levels. They are one shot anywhere on the body.

BTW, single player is kind of annoying. Half the time I am waiting for the AI to catch up, or do some exposition. Kinda sucks that they made the P90 dependent on single player.

So I bought the game because I really wanted to play the single player campaign to see first hand what kind of visuals the Frostbite 3 engine is capable of....and I'm disappointed.

It looks good don't get me wrong, but definitely not next gen. Crysis 3 looks better. And yes, I know that BF4 is geared towards multiplayer so it won't focus on the kind of visuals that a solid single player game would be able to..

But still, I thought the game would look better given all the talk.. Also, doesn't run as well as I was expecting, but I suppose it being a new game and engine and all, that should be expected. Nothing that few patches and driver updates can't take care of.

Played on 2560x1440 Ultra settings 2xMSAA.. I'm going to get the refund after I play the single player campaign to completion.

Actually I take back the above comments. As I've progressed, it has become clear that the Frostbite Engine 3 is pretty damn awesome in terms of it's graphics. Some of the set pieces look amazing! And I forgot that I had the game on 90 FOV which puts a great load on my system, so given that, it actually is fairly well optimized. I'm running at 60 FPS with V-sync on most of the time..

I think I'm going to buy it when it goes on sale for the holidays..

But he was using the straight bolt, its not made to quick scope like he was doing. If you zoom back out with quickscope you are doing it wrong, the gun has a recover rate.

You DON'T zoom back out with straight bolt like he was.

This was shown many times on youtube how he was wrong.

No kidding! I just had one of my best rounds & the damn game locks up. Can't even alt-tab out. Had to hard restart. Lost all my unlocks & ranks, & I had been promoted 2x in that round....such crap!!!

Yes you could. This is how I used to fire bolt actions, just going for headshots. I haven't done it in awhile so my timing is a little off, but you can get the gist. If you werent suppressed, the bullets went where you aimed. Not at random spots like the earlier linked BF4 video.
