I just use fraps. MSI AB doesn't work with 64-bit executables I believe.
Used to and how its done in BF4 might be different, because that is not the case now.

The solo experience was kind of meh. They put you into the same cutscene style multiple times. I mean you slide down in a collapsed building, you run a car off into water, you go sliding down in a ski lift and you fall off a collapsing dam. Its all the same darn trick, big explosion you can do nothing about and your watching a cut scene. The rails are very straight. The AI is pretty "bobby headed" throughout the campaign. All in all it was pretty poor. It wasn't much better than BF3, or the CODs, just all the same rubbish.
This is what really sucks about online shooters. If you aren't in from day one playing at least a hour a day good luck doing anything but getting owned throughout your gameplay. My bf3 experience was basically start up game get killed a minute later. Start again and if I'm lucky 2 minutes pass before I'm dead. Even noob maps are filled with quality players with nothing better to do than own a bunch of noobs.
Sorry, the link I posted was screwed up when linked it last night. I guess this forum doesn't like youtu dot be addresses.

All we were saying was what the original guy was trying to do could be done in BF3. Looking at the starting rifle in BF4 on the test range, you can still do it without the straight pull bolt, but the deviation is greater. When you zoom back in its more random than it is in BF3. Normally you would quickly zoom out and back in to do a reload without losing your current aim. There was no penalty for doing the same thing with a straight pull bolt. I dont have one unlocked yet for a BF4 sniper rifle, but I would think the increased variation after quickscoping would be more of an issue than whether you can or can't do it with a straight pull bolt.
Say it isnt so!!! I couldnt even bring myself to play past the first campaign mission.I also resented having to replay the last mission three times to unlock all three weapons. I guess if you wanted to play single player it might not be so frustrating, but I just wanted the damn multiplayer weapons!
Just finished the Sp in BF4 and collected everything, how can DICE make a game that excels so much in every aspec and fail so badly on the SP story/Characters, I wanted to kill everyone of them, You have a Superman wanna be, a pushover, a bitch and a wanna be wolf, also had no idea what was going on and why things were happening and the end was so bad I don't wanna talk about it.... it was a bummer.
So what would I miss out if I just bought the standard edition? Is the other version with additional features more popular? like maps etc?
Nothing except the first map pack, but if you eventually get premium you will get it. And some battlepacks, but I dont think I have gotten anything worthwhile.

So you're one of the 3 people who played bf4 for SP? The BF series of games has always been about multiplayer from the get-go; I sunk 600+ hours in bf3 multiplayer and about zero hours in single player.
Some games... are more about competition and less about single player - fighting games and competitive FPS generally never focus on SP. And that's fine with me considering how much time i've sunk into all of the BF games.
Totally digging Paracel Storm.
Experiencing the storm coming in and watching all those powerboat launching off the waves.......fun stuff.
I forgot how much fun Rush can be. Also, SAR-21 is boss.
The single player is comedically bad. I'm mean horrible. COD: MW2 has a more coherent story and that game was an absolute mess.
All the character interactions were forced and horrible on the level of the Star Wars Prequels. So ridiculous.
At least in Bad Company games the garbage story and ridiculous characters are the punchline. In Battlefield the joke never happens and you sit there incredulous wondering how they allowed this turd to be released.
