DICE Executive Producer Patrick Bach speaks to Yasmine Evans and James Hill about Battlefield 4's single player campaign. DICE have gone for more drama and more intensity this time around, and the player is not being locked in situations where things go "Boom". Players can be autonomous during these moments.
Patrick also discusses the 17 minute "Fishing in Baku" trailer and the reception it has received from gamers and fans. There are still a lot of added layers and surprises to come! Finally, Patrick is asked about whether we will see some Battlefield 4 multiplayer at E3 (the Electronic Entertainment Expo) in Los Angeles in June 2013. Patrick responds with "well, you never know, do you?" Intriguing!
I hope that means the combo button mashing sequences are gone, I hate that crap.
I dont mind BF3's UI but this looks worse, it looks more like BC2's which I hated.The UI isn't that bad, any news on supernovas and blue hue?
Really? Cause you sound..just a tad bit.....bitter. :biggrin:meh, another rehash of a rehash. Nothing new to see here. These military FPS games need to go away. Having done it in real life kinda ruined them for me. Listening to spawn sniping 10 year olds tell me how newb I am makes me hate our freedom.

The UI I was referring to was the loadout screen, the HUD is fine.That shot looking over the buildings is pretty sweet, should look great when the textures and models are completed.
UI never bothered me, though I don't see... almost any of it in hardcore. The only thing I wish they'd change is to have a more usable compass. Even the current rotating style of it is OK, it's just too 'zoomed in' so it's hard to determine your cardinal directions at a glance imo.
