This is correct and they fixed most of the server crashes. Your stats update when the server's round ends so you don't see the immediately after the crash.

The newer patch actually helped a lot for me, played a couple games last night with no crashing and no lag.
Im playing rush now and I'm having so much more fun. No more getting killed from random spots in the map when I rush flags. Now the majority is actually an aim battle going for the mcomm.
To me, BF4 has the potential for the most gratifying PC gaming experiences I've ever had, and I've been gaming for a long time. But for me, the absolute worst part of BF4 that ruins most games is team balance. I think I've had one game that ended within 50 tickets. Almost every game ends with one team winning by 400-600 tickets. The other team, the one I usually get put on when I join, literally has no chance to win. I'll admit I'm bad at the game and probably will always be, but lots of people are, and even bad players should be able to have fun and enjoy the game.

I hope it was coincidence and not a result of the overclock, because it was pretty mild and should have been fine, it would be super disappointing if my 7950 couldn't handle the oc.

The longer the server is up the worse it's balance is because once one side gets the upper hand the other team starts to quit or switch sides. It does ruin the gameplay experience, and is one reason I wish there was a Uptime stat on server browser so I can try to find servers that are relatively fresh.
Whatever happened to auto team balance that other BF games had?
I know it balances after a match. I've been switch to the dominating teams before because I'm so bad :-(
The best advice I can give is to find a few people to play with. When you've got 5 guys in vent really playing together you can usually do a good job of turning any tide. Plus it's more fun anyways!

Obliteration cures a lot of that from my experience. It has the rush feel minus the snipers.Play 10 or so games, and you'll learn Rush is code for "at least half of the attacking team are snipers so nothing really gets done". =(

Lol so true. I think the problem is made worse right now because so many people are trying to level specific kits to unlock weapon classes. I just hope recon players realize that they can still contribute with flag capping by shifting to iron sights and actually level faster. My .02.
I can't imagine gaming without being in a clan...I've gamed for years with the same crew of guys on various games (almost all of them the different battlefields) and it would suck to be pubbing all the time. Getting a few drinks and shooting some of your buds is one of the best times ever, especially when there's like 20 of you in the server and you get to talk shit, stab them, etc.The best advice I can give is to find a few people to play with.
