Well not only has DICE invented the unloading screen, the load times seem worse now too.
Out of 10 rounds, I crash twice, two games are me joining the servers moments before they end, four games are of one team dominating the other and maybe two rounds out of 10 are actually ok battles.I get tossed into either side of humiliating battles a lot. Example: I'm on the Hainan Resort map, it was a 800 ticket conquest. I joined right at the start so that was good, picked up A, got to B at which despite having multiple epic runs I was unable to hold. Then a third of the team decided to pursue the remote E, while A and B were lost and they ended up keeping all objectives and us at bay for the next 10 minutes or so til the battle ended, with them holding 670+ tickets. These battles are the most frequent ones. I now have a 29% win ratio and play nearly exclusively normal servers, I would think it would be impossible to have a win ratio that low unless you sabotage your team on FF servers. I play as engineer and help the team, attack and defend objectives, I have the same k/d ratio as in CS but keep losing badly. Had a truly epic game in Dawnbreaker, got in a tank and took out 2 fully occupied choppers, nailed a C4 quad bike with the main gun 2 secs before he could make his delivery ran over a few guys, hitting enemies driving at full speed. Me and my gunner spent the game between putting out fries between E and D, as soon as we recap one, the other objective goes down. Lost badly in that game too
The Commander app on Nexus 10: It works fine, when it works. Most of the time it will kick you back to the start screen, you have a slightly better chance of getting it to work with less than 32 players. The mic utilization was a nice move, it was pretty cool and didn't experience lag when it worked but joining matches resulted in connection failure popups enough times for me to quit trying after 4 rounds.
